Welcome to Moses Fountain Hotel
Welcome to the Moses Fountain Hotel. The perfect location for your stay in Rome if you love romance, history, art and extraordinary monuments.
The intimate and romantic atmosphere of the Hotelís internal spaces is a perfect balance to the outdoor spaces designed by mannerist architect Giovanni Fontana in late 16th Century to celebrate Pope Sixtus the Fifth and culminating in the Moses Fountain that occupies the west elevation of the building.
The Fountain was conceived as the terminus of the new Aqueduct Felice, the extension of the Roman Aqueduct Alessandrino, with the purpose of supplying fresh water to the areas of the Quirinale and Viminale hills.
The north elevation of the Moses Fountain Hotel faces the beautiful baroque church of Santa Maria della Vittoria, hosting Berniniís masterpiece the Ecstasy of Saint Theresa.
The hotelís location is also perfect for its proximity to the most elegant shopping streets of Rome, close to the famous Spanish Steps and to the exciting Via Veneto of Felliniís Dolce Vita fame. Villa Borghese, Romeís magnificent central park, is also a short walking distance from the Hotel.
The Moses Fountain Hotel is situated in the middle of the business and financial district of the city and therefore perfect for those guests who are in Rome for work: Airline headquarters, many Embassies, Ministries, financial institutions and University faculties are located in this area.
The Hotel is a five minute walk from the Termini central railway Station with direct rail connections to the airports and is a two minute walk to the metro station of Piazza della Repubblica. Main city bus routes are just a short walk from the front door.
